Visual C++ Redistributables

This page explains how to install the VC runtimes.

Step 1: Download

Download the Visual C++ Redistributables

Step 2: Run Installer

Run the VCRHyb64.exe

It will go through and install all redistributables for you, just wait for it to finish.

Error 202 Fix

This page will help you disable the Vulnerable Driver Blocklist in Windows.

Step 1: Open Command Prompt as Admin

Start by opening a Command Prompt as Admin. Once open, copy and paste the following line of code, then type "y" or "yes" to confirm the changes:

reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Config /v VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable /t REG_DWORD /d 0x000000

It may ask you to overwrite/create a new registry key, which you can also type "y" or "yes" to confirm that. Restart your PC after making these changes.

If you encounter "Access Denied" error

Enter this command:

net user administrator /active:yes

Once this is done, Error should be gone!

Antivirus Software

This page will help you disable your Antivirus Software in Windows.

Virtualization

This page will help you to turn on virtualization in BIOS.

Check Virtualization Status

Firstly, let's check if you have Virtualization on already. You can do so by opening Task Manager, then opening the Performance tab.

If your Virtualization says it's disabled, then let's head to your BIOS to turn it on. If it is enabled, then you can go ahead and skip to the next step.

Intel

Virtualization for Intel Users

Once in your BIOS settings, head over to the Advanced tab and select CPU Configuration.

From there, go to Intel Virtualization Technology, and enable it. Save changes and exit.

⚠️ Your BIOS settings may differ depending on your manufacturer.

AMD

Virtualization for AMD Users

Once in your BIOS settings, head over to the Advanced tab and select CPU Configuration.

From there, go to SVM Mode, and enable it. Save changes and exit.

Hyper-V

This page will help you turn off Hyper-V in Windows.

Opening PowerShell as Admin

In order to turn off Hyper-V in Windows, we are going to start by opening a Windows PowerShell as Admin. This can be done by typing powershell into your Windows search, and pressing "Run as administrator" beside it.

Now that we have PowerShell open, copy and paste the following lines of code separately, then press enter:

Getting an error that says "Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature : Feature name Microsoft-Hyper-V-All is unknown." on the above is completely normal.

Once this is done, restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

PC Optimization

A practical checklist for improving gaming performance while keeping your system stable and secure. Make one change at a time and compare results in the same game or benchmark.

1. Update Windows and Drivers

Install Windows updates, then use Windows Update or your PC and component manufacturers’ official sites to update graphics, chipset, and network drivers. Restart after major updates. Avoid third-party “driver updater” utilities and unofficial driver bundles.

2. Turn On Game Mode and Check Graphics Preferences

Open Settings → Gaming → Game Mode and turn Game Mode on.
On a laptop with dedicated graphics, open Settings → System → Display → Graphics, select the game, choose Options, and set it to High performance if available.
Keep the PC plugged in while gaming and use the manufacturer’s normal performance profile if the system is running quietly or at reduced power.

3. Reduce Unneeded Background Work

Use Task Manager’s Startup apps page to disable only apps you recognize and do not need at sign-in. Before launching a game, close unused browsers, launchers, downloads, and recording tools. Keep Windows Security, firewall protection, and anti-cheat services enabled.

4. Tune Game and Graphics Settings

Start with the game’s recommended settings. If performance is low, lower demanding options such as ray tracing, shadows, volumetric effects, and render scale one at a time. Use your GPU vendor’s supported upscaling or frame-generation features when available, and make sure the game is using the correct display and refresh rate.

Change one setting at a time so you can tell what helped. A stable frame rate is often preferable to an uncapped rate that fluctuates heavily.

5. Check Temperatures, Storage, and Airflow

Keep vents clear, clean dust carefully, and make sure fans can move air. Check CPU and GPU temperatures with trusted monitoring software from the hardware vendor; unusually high temperatures can cause throttling. Keep free space on the drive used for Windows and games, and install frequently played games on an SSD when available.

Avoid overclocking or changing BIOS voltage settings unless you understand the hardware and can restore the defaults.

6. Measure Before and After

Record your usual frame rate and temperatures in the same game, location, and graphics settings before making changes. Apply one change, restart if needed, then compare. If performance gets worse or a problem appears, undo the last change.

Keep changes safe

Avoid “debloat” scripts, registry packs, disabling security features, and blanket service-disabling guides. They can break Windows features or weaken protection, and they do not guarantee better game performance.

Before You Start: Update Windows and Graphics Drivers

Install current Windows updates and graphics drivers from Windows Update or your GPU manufacturer’s official website. Restart after installation.

1. Hyper-V and Virtualization

Hyper-V and Windows virtualization features support virtual machines and security features such as Memory Integrity. Leave these settings at their current values unless an official support article for software you trust specifically asks you to change them. If you rely on virtual machines, changing these settings can affect them. For game or launcher errors, use the publisher’s repair steps instead of changing boot or virtualization settings.

2. Windows Security

Keep Microsoft Defender and real-time protection enabled. Do not add exclusions or run a file that Windows flags just to launch a third-party loader. If a game file is flagged, check the detection in Windows Security and contact the game publisher through its official support channel.

3. Anti-Cheat

Keep the game’s anti-cheat service installed and running. For anti-cheat errors, restart the PC, update the game, and use the official launcher’s repair option. Contact the game publisher if the error remains; do not bypass or disable anti-cheat protections.

4. C++ Redistributables

Install the supported Microsoft Visual C++ runtime packages from Microsoft. Many games and launchers require these shared components.

5. Verify the Game Installation

Use the repair or verify option in the launcher where you installed the game (such as Steam, Battle.net, or Xbox). Let the check finish, apply game updates, then restart the launcher and PC.

How to Fix Stutter and Improve FPS

Use the symptoms and checks below to narrow down the cause. Change one thing at a time, test in the same scene, and undo changes that do not help.

Recognize the problem

Micro-freezes: brief pauses, even when the FPS counter looks high.
Frame drops: FPS suddenly falls and then recovers.
Uneven frame times: the average FPS is reasonable, but motion still feels choppy.
Hitching while turning or entering areas: movement or new assets trigger visible pauses.
Audio glitches at the same moment: may point to a system-wide load or driver issue.

Test an offline or practice session. If the same hitch happens offline, network latency is unlikely to be its cause; online lag usually affects network response rather than local frame delivery.

Why a high FPS counter can still feel choppy

Average FPS hides how evenly frames arrive. At 60 FPS, a frame is expected about every 16.7 ms. A few much slower frames can still feel like a hitch even when the average remains near 60.

Frame-time graph: a steadier line generally feels smoother than repeated spikes.
1% lows: show performance during the slower portion of a run.
0.1% lows: help reveal brief, severe hitches.

Compare the same game, scene, and settings when checking changes.

Quick diagnosis

Does it also happen on the desktop or in several games?
If yes, check recent driver or Windows changes, background activity, temperatures, and system stability. If only one game is affected, start with that game’s settings, files, and recent updates.
Did it start after an update?
Note the driver, Windows, or game version. Check the vendor’s release notes and use its supported rollback or reinstall option if the timing strongly matches.
Does it happen mostly the first time an effect appears?
This can be shader compilation. Give the game time to build its cache, avoid clearing shader caches repeatedly, and check the game’s support notes.
Does it worsen after a longer session?
Monitor CPU/GPU temperatures and clock behavior. Check for blocked airflow, dust, or fan problems; hardware limits vary, so compare readings with the component maker’s specifications.
Are frames dropping in busy scenes?
Use Task Manager or a trusted monitoring tool to check per-core CPU load, GPU load, memory use, and frame times. A single saturated CPU thread can be hidden by a modest overall CPU percentage.
Does GPU use stay low while FPS is also low?
Treat that as a clue, not a diagnosis. Check CPU limits, power settings, the selected graphics processor, frame caps, background load, and temperatures before changing settings.
Does it happen when loading new areas or textures?
Check drive activity and free space. If the game is on a hard drive, test it from an SSD when available.

Common causes and clues

CPU limit: busy scenes hitch while one or more CPU cores are heavily loaded.
Driver or update issue: symptoms began soon after a driver, Windows, or game update.
Shader compilation: first-use effects hitch, then improve after the assets are cached.
Storage streaming: hitches appear while loading areas or textures, with high drive activity.
Thermal or power limits: performance declines as the session continues or clocks drop under load.
Memory pressure: memory use approaches capacity and the system pages data to disk.
VRAM pressure: high texture settings coincide with pop-in or hitching.
Frame pacing: FPS is high but motion is uneven; refresh rate, sync, and frame caps may not agree.
Background or overlay conflict: recording, capture, chat, RGB, or other overlay software coincides with hitches.

Safe fixes to try first

Update or repair the graphics driver.
Get drivers from NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, or the PC maker. Try a normal update or the vendor’s clean-install option first. Use a third-party driver cleanup utility only when a driver problem is well established and you understand its Safe Mode workflow.
Check Windows and device power settings.
Install pending Windows updates at a convenient time. On laptops, test while plugged in and use the manufacturer’s standard performance profile. A High Performance plan is not required for every PC and may increase heat or power use.
Temporarily turn off unused overlays.
Test Discord, Steam, Xbox Game Bar, GPU capture, and other overlays one at a time. Re-enable the ones you need after testing.
Check memory configuration carefully.
In BIOS, XMP/EXPO enables a memory profile that may run above default specifications. It can improve performance on some systems but is not guaranteed to be stable. Change it only if you are comfortable restoring BIOS defaults; test memory stability afterward.
Test a sensible frame cap and sync setting.
Set the monitor to its intended refresh rate. If frame pacing is uneven, test a stable in-game cap and compare adaptive sync or V-Sync settings one at a time. The best cap depends on the monitor, game, and system; there is no single number that fits all setups.
Reduce background load.
Sort Task Manager by CPU, GPU, memory, and disk while the issue occurs. Close only apps you recognize and do not need. Do not disable antivirus, Windows services, or security features as an FPS fix.

Hardware and game checks

Lower demanding settings such as ray tracing, shadows, volumetric effects, or render scale one at a time. Check that the game uses the intended GPU, especially on laptops. Keep vents unobstructed, clean dust carefully, and confirm the game drive has free space. If the problem persists, record frame times, temperatures, clock speeds, and resource use so support can compare the evidence.

Protect your system and logs

Avoid registry packs, “debloat” scripts, blanket service changes, and disabling antivirus or virtualization security for FPS claims. Before sharing a hardware-monitoring log publicly, review it for device identifiers and other private information.

How to Manually Check for a RAT

A RAT (Remote Access Trojan) is malicious software that can let someone control or monitor a device remotely. These checks can help you spot warning signs, but no single symptom or unfamiliar process proves a PC is infected.

Start with context

High CPU use, network connections, startup apps, or remote-access software can all be legitimate. Compare against what you installed and were doing, and treat repeated, unexplained changes as a reason to investigate rather than a diagnosis.

Possible warning signs

Repeated unexplained CPU or network activity while the PC is idle, especially when it aligns with other unusual behavior.
Programs you do not recognize launching at startup, or files changing without an expected update or app activity.
Recurring connections associated with a process you cannot identify or explain.
Remote sessions, cursor movement, or apps opening that you did not initiate. First rule out remote support tools, controllers, touchpad issues, scheduled tasks, and other people with authorized access.
Unexpected sign-in alerts, password changes, or authentication prompts. These can indicate account compromise even when there is no RAT on the PC.

Manual checks in Windows

Review running processes.
Open Task Manager with Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Sort Processes by CPU, Memory, and Network while the unexplained activity is happening. Note the process name and PID. If a name is unfamiliar, use Open file location and inspect Properties and the publisher; names and icons can be copied, and a valid signature alone does not prove a file is safe. Do not delete or end system processes based on a name alone.
Review startup apps and recent installs.
Check Task Manager → Startup apps, Settings → Apps → Installed apps, and the app’s publisher and install date. Disable or uninstall only items you can confidently identify as unwanted. Avoid deleting files from Windows folders or changing registry entries as a first step.
Inspect active network activity.
Open Resource Monitor by searching Windows for Resource Monitor, then review its Network tab while the activity occurs. Note the process name, PID, remote address, and time if a connection repeatedly appears unexplained. An unfamiliar IP by itself is not evidence of malware: ordinary apps use shared hosting, content-delivery networks, and changing endpoints. Do not post full logs or IP history publicly.
Check remote-access settings and apps.
Review Settings → System → Remote Desktop and the installed apps list for tools such as remote-support software. Confirm whether you or someone authorized installed them. If this is a work or school PC, ask IT before changing remote-access settings.

Scan with trusted security tools

Update your security software, then run a full scan. On Windows, open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Scan options. If concern remains, use Microsoft Defender Offline scan where available; it restarts the PC to scan outside the usual Windows session. You can also use a reputable second-opinion scanner obtained from its official vendor website.

Do not install tools promoted by pop-ups or unknown download sites, and do not disable antivirus protection to run a supposed RAT detector. No scanner can guarantee detection of every threat.

If you have a credible reason to suspect compromise

Disconnect the PC from the network.
Turn off Wi-Fi or unplug Ethernet to limit remote access and data transfer while you decide what to do. If it is a managed work or school device, contact IT promptly.
Record what you observed.
Write down times, process names, PIDs, alerts, and what changed. Save screenshots if safe. Keep evidence private; do not run unfamiliar cleanup commands or copy suspicious executables to another device.
Scan and follow trusted remediation guidance.
Run the built-in offline scan or contact a reputable security professional. If detections return or remote control persists, consider professional help or a clean Windows reinstall using official installation media, after planning how to preserve important files safely.
Secure accounts from a known-clean device.
Change important passwords, sign out other sessions, and enable multifactor authentication. Prioritize email, financial, and account-recovery credentials. Contact your bank or organization if those accounts may have been accessed.

Do not rely on symptoms alone

High fans, slowdowns, unknown connections, or failed logins can have many causes. Confirm with trusted scans and evidence, and ask a qualified technician or your organization’s IT team if you are unsure.

Registry Fix Instructions

In the search box on the taskbar, type regedit, then select Registry Editor (Desktop app) from the results.
Travel to this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
Create a DWORD Value with the name: FeatureSettingsOverride
Create a DWORD Value with the name: FeatureSettingsOverrideMask
Set both of these values to equal 3
Restart your PC.

License Not Found

Why does this happen?

Disable ALL Overlays

Access your BIOS/UEFI settings and disable Secure Boot.

Clean Reinstall
Uninstall all related software and perform a fresh installation.

Follow these steps to load the menu into your game.

After you're done with the PC Setup guide, drag the loader into the folder and save your key!
Open the loader and enter your key, then wait for it to say "Success Loaded"
THEN OPEN GAME and before you hit multiplayer, make sure you have Fullscreen Borderless on
IN SELECTION SCREEN HIT INSERT one time and wait 30 seconds
Menu will pop up! INSERT = Open/Close
